WriteParrot

Affiliate Disclosure

In plain English

Some links on WriteParrot are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This never influences our ratings or recommendations.

What are affiliate links?

An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a software company you arrived at their site via WriteParrot. If you make a purchase within a set window (usually 30–90 days), we receive a commission — a percentage of the sale price or a flat fee, depending on the programme. The price you pay is identical whether you use an affiliate link or go directly to the company's website.

Which links are affiliate links?

Affiliate links appear throughout our reviews, comparison articles, and "best of" listicles. They are most commonly found on buttons labelled "Visit [tool]", "Try for free", or "Get started". We do not always mark individual links with a disclosure badge, but this page and a general notice in our footer serve as site-wide disclosure.

Does this affect our editorial independence?

No. Our ratings, rankings, and verdicts are determined entirely by our testing methodology and editorial judgement. We have affiliate relationships with some of the tools we cover — but we also cover tools with which we have no affiliate relationship. And we publish critical reviews of tools we are affiliated with when our testing warrants it.

The way we fund WriteParrot is through affiliate revenue. If we compromised our ratings to favour affiliate partners, we would lose reader trust — which is the only real asset we have. Our long-term incentive is to be accurate, not to sell.

Which affiliate programmes do we participate in?

We participate in affiliate programmes offered by the software companies and tools we review, including but not limited to programmes run by Surfer SEO, Frase, Jasper AI, MarketMuse, Semrush, and Copy.ai. We also participate in third-party affiliate networks that facilitate these relationships.

FTC compliance

In compliance with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose our material connections with any product or service reviewed or recommended on this site. This Affiliate Disclosure page constitutes our site-wide disclosure.
